Ian Rapoport was slammed in the face with an errant football, and Tim Tebow was nowhere near the football field.?
A "heads up" or a simple "fore" would have been nice.?
Sunday night was a tough evening for the Houston Texans and field reporters. One of the best teams this season was torched by a?red-hot Aaron Rodgers, as the Green Bay Packers downed the Texans, 42-24.?
Oh, and NFL Network reporter Rapoport was smashed in the face with a football while doing his job.
But boy, was he a great sport about it.
Nobody would have blamed the reporter if he got a little grumpy after being domed by a football. If there was ever a reason to let an F-bomb fly on live TV, that would be it.?
Instead,?Rapoport collected himself, smiled and continued with his report. I was actually stunned he didn't drop an "Aw, shucks" or a "Gee willikers."
The man was on his A-game for Sunday night. We just can't say the same for the Texans.?
As for the errant football, I am really interested to know how a field covered with professional football players still managed to contain one person with the inability to throw accurately.?
Unless someone was aiming for poor ol'?Rapoport. In which case, he had better wear a helmet to his next game.
