On Saturday, October 27th, the non-profit, Keo-Mah Genealogical Society will host a ?Military Genealogy Workshop a the Oskaloosa Public Library from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The workshop will cover genealogy and the Revoluntionary War, the Civil War, the War of 1812 and a session on tombstone reading and restoration. The speakers are Ricky Bickel will discuss the restoration and replacement of early military tombstones, Barbara Hug will speak about the War of 1812, Mark DeGeest will talk about the Civil War and Barbara Hammer will present information on the Revolutionary War. There will be a lunch provided.
